The Nigeria Police Force has successfully graduated 10,000 newly trained constables from Police Colleges and Training Institutions across the country, marking a major step in strengthening the Force’s operational capacity.
This was obtained in a statement on Wednesday CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, Force Public Relations Officer.
At the Passing Out Parade held simultaneously on October 7, 2025, Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, charged the new recruits to exemplify “honour, diligence, and patriotism” as they embark on their policing careers.
He praised their dedication, stating they had undergone rigorous training that prepared them “for the complex realities of 21st-century law enforcement.”
The comprehensive training curriculum emphasised modern policing techniques, including community partnership, intelligence-led policing, respect for human rights, and the judicious use of authority — all aimed at fostering professionalism and public trust.
This latest batch of graduates is part of the Force’s ongoing manpower development plan, which also saw 10,000 constables pass out earlier this year in January 2025.
The IGP underscored the Force’s commitment to continuous training, welfare improvements, and institutional reforms to ensure a safer Nigeria for all.
