187 vulnerable Nigerians return from Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency in collaboration with other agencies have received 187 vulnerable Nigerian returnees from Libya.
Dailyeconomy in a circular obtained from NEMA on Wednesday gathered that the returnees included 13 male adults, 139 female adults, 11 children and 24 infants.
The returnees were said to have landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Cargo Terminal in Lagos on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
The circular reads, “NEMA Lagos Territorial Office LTO participated in the reception of 187 Nigerian Returnees from Libya by the IOM.
“The NEMA LTO in conjunction with other stakeholders yesterday, 24th September 2024, received a total of 187 Nigerian returnees from Libya. The returnees comprised 13 male adults, 139 female adults, 11 children and 24 infants.
“The returnees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International airport, Cargo Terminal at about 1840 hours aboard Al-Buraq Boeing airline 787-500 with registration no: 5A-DMG.
The following stakeholders participated in the exercise: NEMA, Nigerian Immigration Service, NCFRMI, IOM, FAAN, DSS, NAPTIP and the Nigeria Police Force.”
