Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, has expressed his satisfaction after inspecting the ongoing construction of the 49-kilometre Eiyenkorin–Afon–Ojoku–Offa–Odo-Otin concrete road and the renovation of the Primary Healthcare Centre in Okesho, Asa local government area.

The governor in a statement shared on Sunday via his social media handle stated, “The concrete road, which is one of the four major roads being funded in Kwara State under the federal tax credit scheme at the instance of the BUA conglomerate, looks so solid.

“We thank His Excellency President Bola Tinubu for the road project. It is a major achievement that will shorten travel time between Ilorin, Offa and adjoining communities.”

He described the project as a “good investment and another product of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” adding, “It shows that the policies are working. There is more money for infrastructure, and our people can see that even within the state.”

The governor also expressed full support for Tinubu’s developmental vision, saying, “The people of Kwara State are fully behind Mr. President to have another term post 2027 for his developmental agenda to run full circle.”

Furthermore, he praised the BUA Group’s role in the project, noting, “I also commend the BUA Group for handling the project very well.

“The quality of job being done by BUA is first class. They are also working on the Bode Sadu–Kaiama–
Kosubosu road project. My team and I have been there as well. BUA is doing a fantastic job.”
