Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has sworn in the newly elected local government chairmen and vice-chairmen of all the 16 Local Government Areas in the State.
The event took place at the Government House in Ilorin, the State capital on Monday, after the Local Government elections were concluded on Saturday.
This was revealed in a video shared on the X (formally Twitter) handle of the Kwara State Government on Monday.
The video caption reads, “Governor Rahman (CON) swears in newly elected chairpersons and vice chairpersons for the 16 LGAs of Kwara State.
“He charges them to work with all and to serve the people diligently.”
Meanwhile, Dailyeconomy on Sunday, September 22, reported that the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission announced that the All Progressives Congress won all 16 local government areas in the State.
