Ahmed Musa returns as Eagles releases squad for World Cup

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have unveiled a strong provisional squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The team, led by coach Eric Chelle, features top talents Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface alongside other key players like Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Captain Ahmed Musa returns to the squad after a year’s absence, bringing leadership and experience.

However, despite fitness concerns, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru (ankle injury), Jerome Akor Adams, and Maduka Okoye who has been out since Decemberare included in the squad.
