Air Peace flight diverted after bird strike, replacement aircraft deployed

An Abuja-Lagos Air Peace flight scheduled for 6:30 a.m has been forced to return to the ramp due to a bird strike before takeoff to ensure passenger safety.
A statement issued on Thursday, by the Air Peace Head of Corporate Communications, Dr Ejike Ndiulo confirmed that passengers came down without incident and a replacement aircraft was swiftly arranged to minimise travel disruptions.
It reads, “We wish to inform our esteemed passengers that our Abuja-Lagos 06:30 flight experienced a bird strike before take-off, prompting a ramp return as a safety measure.
“All passengers disembarked normally.
“We have deployed a replacement aircraft for the affected flight in order to minimise disruptions, thus ensuring that passengers continue their journeys promptly.”
The airline expressed appreciation for the understanding of affected passengers and reaffirmed its commitment to safe and reliable air travel.
“We appeal for the understanding of our valued passengers impacted by this development, as well as those on other flights that may experience delays.
“At Air Peace, we are committed to providing safe, comfortable, and reliable air travel for all our passengers,” the statement added.
