Akor Adams reached out to Osimhen in 2019, now both lead Nigeria to World Cup playoff in 2025

In a heartfelt message from 2019, Sevilla FC attacker Akor Adams sent a direct message to Super Eagles superstar, Victor Osimhen seeking guidance on coping with difficult days in training and after matches.

Adams via Instagram asked in 2019, Bro, wanna ask. How do you manage bad days at training or after games??”

Osimhen’s encouraging response was clear and inspiring, “Yo bro, there will always be bad days, be it match or training. The thing you gotta hold on to is your quality and most important the will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential are basically what makes you standout.

“Try to forget about the bad days quickly ok… I have gone through a lot of critics which are very bad but I choose not to let that get me down… just put GOD first and believe in yourself… the bad days will only make you stronger.”

Fast forward to 2025, Adams and Osimhen started together for the Nigeria national team Super Eagles as they secured a spot in the FIFA World Cup playoffs on Tuesday.
