Akwa Ibom gov promises early 13th-month salary to workers ahead of Christmas

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has assured workers that their 13th-month salaries will be paid before the Christmas season.

In a terse statement on X, the governor stated, “I have directed the Accountant General to pay the 13th-month Eno-mber salary before Christmas, so our workers can celebrate with ease.”

He concluded with warm wishes, saying, “Happy New Month.”

This timely payment aims to ease financial burdens and enhance festive celebrations for the state’s workforce.
