APC disowns fake 2025 congress schedule circulating on social media

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed a purported “2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities” circulating across social media platforms, describing it as fake news.

In a statement released on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC clarified that the document did not originate from the party and should be completely disregarded.

“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a document titled ‘APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities’ widely circulated on social media,” the statement read.

“The so-called schedule was neither made nor authorized by the Party and should be treated as false information,” Morka emphasized.

The party further urged its members and the general public to verify information only through official APC communication channels to avoid being misled by unauthorized publications.
