APC governors pass vote of confidence on Tinubu, endorse him for 2027 presidency

The Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu and officially endorsed him as the party’s candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The motion according to Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, was moved by the chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, and seconded by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
The endorsement received overwhelming support from thousands of party faithful attending the APC summit held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
In a statement reflecting the mood of the gathering, Onanuga briefed, “Governors of the All Progressives Congress on Thursday passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu and endorsed him as the party’s candidate in 2027.
“The motion was moved by the chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma. Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State seconded the motion, which got the resounding support of the thousands of party faithful attending the APC summit at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
