Army discloses schedules for Lagbaja’s funeral

The Nigerian has announced a two-day schedule for the burial of the late Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja.
The 56-year-old Lagbaja passed away last Tuesday in Lagos following an undisclosed illness.
The Nigerian army disclosed the funeral arrangement through a video on its X (formally Twitter) account on Wednesday.
According to the video clip the service of songs will hold on Thursday from 5pm to 7 pm at the Army Headquarters Garrison Parade Ground, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja.
The funeral service is for Friday from 10 am to 12:45 pm at the National Christian Centre in Abuja’s Central Business District, with the final interment taking place at the National Military Cemetery from 2 pm to 6 p.m. the same day.
Recall Dailyeconomy reports that Tinubu appointed an acting Chief of Army Staff, Olufemi Oluyede on Wednesday, October 30, following Lagbaja’s failing health condition.
