Army promotes officers, urges integrity

Chief of military intelligence (Army), Aliyu Idris, has urged newly promoted officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their service to the nation.
Speaking at a decoration ceremony held at the Brigadier General A.U. Kuliya Auditorium, Headquarters Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps, Idris advised the officers to avoid disciplinary issues, strive for excellence, and remain loyal to constituted authority.
The officers promoted to the rank of Major include Hamza Abdulkadir, M.O. John, Yusuf, and Muhammad.
Senior officers, Gbolahan Folayan and Dooyum Madza, also counseled the newly decorated officers to stay focused and committed to their duties.
Responding on behalf of the group, Hamza Abdulkadir expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, for approving their promotions.
He pledged that the officers would uphold the Nigerian Army’s core values and discharge their responsibilities with dedication and integrity.
