BBNaija Laycon accuses DJ Neptune of unpaid royalties for song remix

The former Big Brother Naija winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, well known as Laycon, has publicly called out Imohiosen Patrick called DJ Neptune for allegedly failing to pay him royalties from their collaboration on the song titled “Nobody (Icons Remix).”
The song, featuring Joeboy, was an accolade to Laycon’s fans, known as Icons, it was released in 2020 after Laycon won the 2020 BB Naija series.
In a post on X (formal Twitter), Laycon expressed frustration over Neptune’s silence for four years regarding their agreement.
He emphasised the importance of artists honouring their commitments in the industry.
He wrote, “Abeg o, DJ Neptune how far my agreement and split for the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’ song though. Is it not still ready? Haba, it’s been 4 years.”
DJ Neptune has not yet responded to the allegations.
