The Bank of Agriculture (BOA) has officially launched the Renewed Hope National Agricultural Mechanisation Program.

The initiative kicked off with the handover of the first batch of tractors to service providers, paving the way for widespread access to modern farming equipment across the country.

BOA announced the program in a statement on X, emphasising its comprehensive support structure.

“The Bank of Agriculture has launched the Renewed Hope National Agricultural Mechanisation Program with the first batch of tractors handed over to service providers, kickstarting nationwide access to modern farming equipment,” the statement read.

The program goes beyond equipment distribution, incorporating “structured financing, training, and digital tracking” to ensure proper use, maintenance, and sustainable repayment.

This holistic approach aims to empower farmers and service providers alike.

BOA underscored its commitment to transforming policy into tangible results, “BOA is turning policy into action to strengthen rural enterprise and grow Nigeria’s food production.”
