The controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, well known as Bobrisky, has been released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre after serving a four-month sentence.
Bobrisky was spotted in a viral video by Dailyeconomy, exiting the area near the prison in a vehicle with two of her friends.
He was sent to prison by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Lagos Federal High Court for abusing the Naira note.
The judge did not give him the option of a fine, stating that his sentence should serve as a warning to others.
Bobrisky’s imprisonment started on April 12, 2024, and ended on Monday, August 5, 2024.
However, the judge held that the jail term commenced on March 24, the day of her arrest.
