Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini has publicly declared his support for Ademola Lookman in the upcoming Ballon d’Or voting.
According to football transfer analysis and sports journalist, Gasperini noted Lookman’s impressive performances and contributions to the team, emphasising that the forward’s impact on and off the pitch makes him a deserving candidate for the prestigious award.
Gasperini while speaking with Sky stated, “My personal Ballon d’Or vote would go to Ademola Lookman.
“His magic skills helped us to win the Europa League.”
It would be recalled that Lookman scored three awe-inspiring goals to help Atalanta defeat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League final, making Lookman the player of the match as the Atalanta became the first Italian club to win the UEL since it was renamed in 2009.
