Buhari visits Bornu gov over flooding

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has visited Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum in Maiduguri over flooding in the State.
This was disclosed by Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu in a terse statement on Tuesday.
Shehu said Buhari was received at the Maiduguri Airport by Borno Governor Babagana Zulum and Senator Ali Ndume representing Borno South in the Senate.
The statement reads, “Former President Muhammadu Buhari just landed in Maiduguri, Borno State, into the warm hands of Governor Babagana Zulum, Senator Ali Ndume and other political and government leaders in the state.
“The former president was away on vacation when the state suffered the recent devastating floods and is here to personally commiserate with the Shehu of Borno, the government, and the people of the state following the tragic incident.”
