Capital Express Life Assurance Limited and Capital Express Indemnity Insurance Limited (CEIIL), members of Capital Express Insurance Group, on Tuesday hosted a vibrant 2025 End-of-Year celebration at the Company’s head office on Bishop Cale Close, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The colourful gathering brought together members of the Capital Express family for an afternoon of music and dance, with an abundance of food and drinks adding to the festive atmosphere.

A major highlight of the event was the recognition of both young and long-serving staff for their outstanding performance and commitment to the organisation.

In a special moment, Mr. Christopher Ogbebor, who has served the company for many years, was honoured with a ₦1 million long-service award.

The cheque was presented by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Capital Express Life Assurance Limited, Mr. Mathew Ogelenya Ogwezhi, amid applause from colleagues.

Also at the event, the Managing Director of Capital Express Indemnity Insurance Limited (CEIIL), Mr. Adewale Koko, presented awards to outstanding staff members who distinguished themselves through dedication and excellence during the year.

Speaking at the celebration, the Director-General of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) and former Managing Director of the company, Mrs. Bola Odukale, commended the unwavering dedication of the Capital Express workforce.
Expressing her gratitude, she said, “The company groomed me to become what I am today.”
She further praised Capital Express for its strong culture of rewarding hard work, noting that staff appreciation remains a cornerstone of the organisation’s success.
