Capital Express Life Assurance celebrates customers during Customer Service Week

Capital Express Life Assurance Limited joined organisations around the world to celebrate Customer Service Week 2025, dedicating the week to honouring its employees, agents, and customers who make service excellence possible.
With the theme “Mission Possible,” the week-long celebration has featured engaging activities across all company locations designed to reinforce teamwork, customer empathy, and the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class service experiences.
Speaking on the significance of the celebration, Mr. Mathew Ogwezhi, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Capital Express Life Assurance Limited, said:

Throughout the week, employees participated in team-building activities, fireside chats, and themed dress-up days that showcased creativity and camaraderie.
Thursday’s highlight was “Dress Like Royalty Day,” a symbolic event reflecting Capital Express Life Assurance’s long-standing culture of treating customers like royalty. Staff stepped out in regal-inspired outfits, celebrating the company’s deep respect for every customer and reaffirming its service philosophy built on dignity, trust, and excellence.
“We believe that every interaction is an opportunity to make our customers feel valued and respected,” said Mrs. Yewande Okeoghene, Head of Customer Service. “Our ‘Dress Like Royalty’ theme is not just about appearance; it is about mindset. It reminds us daily to serve with grace, empathy, and a sense of purpose.”
As part of the week’s events, the company also recognised outstanding service champions across departments who have consistently demonstrated excellence, responsiveness, and dedication in customer relations.
Mr. Ogwezhi added that the company remains committed to leveraging technology and continuous staff training to enhance its service delivery.

The 2025 Customer Service Week celebration will conclude on Friday with an appreciation ceremony and the presentation of awards to top-performing service ambassadors across Capital Express Life Assurance’s nationwide network.
