CBN opens bid for insurers, brokers to underwrite its policies

The Central Bank of Nigeria has (CBN) has invited interested insurance companies and brokers registered in Nigeria, to bid as underwriter or broker for its insurance activities for the period 2025/2026.
It disclosed this in a publication titled, ‘Request for application for the appointment of insurance companies/brokers to underwrite insurance policies for the Central Bank of Nigeria’, obtained on Wednesday.
The banking regulator listed mandatory requirements for eligible applicants.
It also stated that the application will close on September 5, 2024.
