The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) announced on Monday a revision of its Agent Banking Regulation aimed at strengthening the framework for safer and more accessible financial services.

In a post on X, the CBN stated, “Revised Agent Banking Regulation >>>Bank Safe,” highlighting the key focus on enhancing trust and security.

The apex bank emphasised that the update “ensures safer transactions, protects consumers, and supports financial inclusion nationwide.”

The CBN concluded with a forward-looking statement, “The future of secure transactions starts here!”

This move is expected to foster wider adoption of digital banking services, especially among underserved communities across Nigeria.
