Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso has emphasised the need for coordinated efforts across public institutions to restore long-term economic confidence, sharing insights from a key meeting on fiscal-monetary alignment.

He detailed discussions with top officials, stating, “I met with the Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, alongside the Chairman of the Nigerian Revenue Service, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, for discussions on fiscal-monetary coordination.”
Cardoso underscored the ongoing priority, “As reforms advance, sustained institutional alignment remains critical to credible implementation and the outcomes required to support Nigeria’s long-term economic resilience.”
