CBN to hold next MPC meeting July 22-23

The Central Bank of Nigeria will hold the 296th meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on Monday, July 22 to Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the CBN Headquarters, Abuja.
It disclosed this in a statement on its website.
The CBN had increased the Monetary Policy Rate by 150 basis points from 24.75 per cent to 26.25 per cent at the end of the 295th MPC meeting in May.
It also retained the asymmetric corridor around the MPR to +100/-300 basis points, retained the cash reserve ratio of Deposit Money Banks at 45 per cent, and held the liquidity ratio at 30 per cent.
