The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a strong warning to all candidates involved in its current recruitment exercise, emphasizing that the process remains completely free and transparent.
In an official statement signed by Okeh Juliet, Head of Press and Public Relations, CDCFIB said, “The Board remains firmly committed to a transparent, seamless and completely free recruitment process at no financial cost to applicants.”
They urged applicants to rely solely on official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic updates and cautioned against fraudsters attempting to exploit job seekers with false claims or financial demands.
CDCFIB further stressed, “At no point will any applicant be asked to pay a fee, disclose personal banking information, or make any form of financial contribution to advance in the recruitment.”
The Board confirmed its dedication to integrity and accountability, as well as safeguarding applicants from scams.
Job seekers were encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity or demands for payment to the nearest security agency.
