In a dramatic celebrity boxing match dubbed Chaos in the Rings held at Lagos’ Balmoral Events Centre, controversial singer Portable born Habib Badmus, knocked out fellow artist Darlington Okoye known as Speed Darlington, in the first round, leaving Speed Darlington with a broken right hand and unable to continue.

After the fight, Speed Darlington claimed Portable’s victory was aided by traditional charms, or juju, alleging supernatural interference caused his shoulder dislocation despite feeling no exhaustion during the bout.
He stated in a social media video, “I felt no tiredness, but my shoulder got dislocated. I believe Portable used juju to defeat me”.
The rivalry stemmed from a booking dispute where Speed Darlington offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at his show, an offer Portable publicly dismissed as insulting, demanding ₦20 million instead.
The tension escalated into the boxing match, which Portable dominated with impressive footwork and aggressive punches, securing a technical knockout after Speed Darlington failed to answer the bell for the second round due to injury, Dailyeconomy reports.
