Renowned American singer, Chris Brown was denied bail and remanded in custody by a UK court on Friday, over charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm in an alleged unprovoked attack at a London nightclub in February 2023.
The 36-year-old was arrested at a Manchester hotel and appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court, where Judge Joanne Hirst ordered him to remain in custody until his next hearing at London’s Southwark Crown Court on June 13.
The charges relate to an incident where Brown allegedly struck a music producer with a bottle at the Tape nightclub in central London.
This development comes ahead of Brown’s planned “Bzy Bowl” world tour set to begin in June.
