US singer Chris Brown has been released on bail by a London court after being charged with grievous bodily harm related to a 2023 nightclub assault in London.

The 36-year-old must pay a £5 million security deposit and comply with strict conditions, including residing at a court-approved address, surrendering his passport when not touring, and avoiding contact with the alleged victim and the nightclub involved.

Brown was not present at the bail hearing but is now allowed to continue his international tour, which includes UK dates in June and July.

His next court appearance is scheduled for June 20 at Southwark Crown Court alongside co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu, also charged in connection with the incident.
