Contributory pension assets gain N2.8tn in eight months- PenCom

The total assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme rose by N2,8tn in eight months.

Figures obtained by Dailyeconomy from the National Pension Commission (PenCom) revealed.

According to PenCom, the total assets which ended December 2023 at N18.36tn, rose to N21.13tn at the end of August 2024.

The bulk of the funds totaling N13.4tn was invested in Federal Government securities.
