Contributory Pension assets maintain steady growth, gain N2.12tn in H1 2025

Assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme continued steady growth, increasing by N2.12 trillion in the first half of 2025.

According to figures obtained by Dailyeconomy from the National Pension Commission (PenCom) on Saturday, total pension assets rose from N22.51 trillion as of December 2024 to N24.63 trillion by the end of June 2025.

A significant portion of the assets amounting to N15.19 trillion was invested in Federal Government securities.
