Customs clarifies recruitment process amid extortion claims

The Nigeria Customs Service has reiterated that its recruitment process is completely free and fair.

The commission in a terse statement on Friday, warned Nigerians to beware of scammers and fraudsters who might demand payment or charge them for any fee at any stage during the recruitment process.

The statement reads, “The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) reminds all Nigerians that our recruitment process is completely FREE and FAIR.

“We DO NOT charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process. If anyone demands payment, they are scammers. Do not fall victim to fraud!”
