Davido announces tour for forthcoming album

Afrobeat star David Adeleke alias Davido has divulged a five-city tour across Europe and North America in anticipation of his long-awaited fifth studio album, ‘5IVE’.

The tour, which will kick off on April 5, 2025, in Los Angeles, will see Davido perform his new album live, alongside some of his biggest hits, in iconic venues such as The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, Bowery Ballroom in New York, and Exhibition in London.

He thereby enjoined fans to purchase tickets starting from Thursday, March 27.

He wrote, “30BG get ready! Starting Thursday, March 27th at 10am local time get your tickets to come see me live for the 5IVE album release event.

“Sign up for early access to tickets today at the link in my bio.”

Davido’s ‘5IVE was initially scheduled to be released on March 14, but it has been changed to April 18, due to an undisclosed reason.

Davido has already released three tracks from the upcoming album: ‘Be There Still,’ ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley, and ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodublvck and Chike.

The singer describes ‘5IVE’ as “my story, my truth and my growth,” promising an intimate and personal musical experience for his fans.
