Davido, French Montana set to ignite AFCON 2025 with kick-off concert in Morocco

Nigerian Afrobeats icon Davido and international hip-hop star French Montana will headline the official kick-off concert for the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), heating up the excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening match.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) dropped the bombshell lineup, confirming the free event at the OLM Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat this Saturday, December 20.
Kicking off at 18:00 and running until midnight local time, the show is open to fans with a Fan ID or match tickets, blending Afrobeats, hip-hop, pop, and Moroccan vibes to honor African culture and unity.
Joining the headliners are Moroccan breakout star Douaa Lahyaoui, French-Moroccan chart-topper Lartiste, and emerging talent Says’z. CAF hailed it as “one of the most ambitious entertainment programs ever staged alongside the tournament,” promising “an unforgettable celebration of rhythm and talent.”
This star-powered spectacle underscores AFCON 2025’s mission to fuse football passion with Africa’s musical heartbeat, drawing global eyes to Morocco as the host nation.
