Nasboi’s extraordinary 36-state kneeling tour to secure a verse from Davido has finally drawn a response from the Afrobeats superstar.
After traveling across all 36 states of Nigeria, kneeling and pleading for a collaboration, Davido reacted signaling his acknowledgment of Nasboi’s dedication.
“Love the jam !! I got you soonest !! E go sup!!” Davido wrote under Nasboi’s post.
In an excitement response, Nasboi wrote, “OBO make old man like me cry @davido. God bless you….. yo! Dem laugh me scatter. Buh God no shame me.”
The campaign, which began in late May 2025, saw Nasboi visiting each state, holding placards and kneeling publicly as a symbolic gesture to catch Davido’s attention.
The journey was both physically and emotionally demanding, with Nasboi sharing details of his travels and even surviving a terrifying accident during the tour.
Nasboi, who initially gained fame by mimicking Davido since 2019, has since transitioned into a rising Afrobeats star with hits like “Umbrella” featuring Wande Coal and “Could This Be Love” featuring Chike.
His bold and creative approach to securing a feature from one of Nigeria’s biggest music icons has won widespread admiration from fans and industry watchers alike.
