Billionaire businessman Dr Adedeji Adeleke, father of renowned singer, David Adeleke, well-known as Davido, donated N1 billion to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Lagos on Sunday.

The generous contribution was made during a thanksgiving service honouring his late mother, Esther Adeleke, a revered figure in the church.

The announcement was met with applause from attendees, including dignitaries like Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Adeleke expressed his commitment to his mother’s legacy, emphasising the importance of philanthropy in the community.
