Disu assumes office as FCT 32nd CP, vows zero-tolerance to criminality

The new Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu has on Monday, assumed office.
Disu according to a terse statement by the FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh on Monday, warned that his tenure will not tolerate any forms of crime and criminality in the nation’s capital.
Adeh wrote, “CP Tunji Disu assumes duties today, Monday, October 7, 2024, as the 32nd Commissioner of Police of the FCT Command.
“He vowed that his tenure would not tolerate all forms of crimes and criminal activities.”
Disu was the immediate past Rivers State Commissioner of Police.
He took over from Benneth Igweh who was promoted to an Assistant Inspector- General of Police in charge of Zone 7.
