Eid-el-Fitr: Tinubu hosts Wike, lawmakers at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu has hosted a delegation from the Federal Capital Territory at the Presidential Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja as part of activities marking the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

The event, which began at early noon, following the President’s arrival, was attended by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, lawmakers representing the FCT at the National Assembly, area council chairpersons, traditional rulers, religious leaders and senior judicial officers.

At the event, Wike presented a Sallah felicitation card to Tinubu on behalf of the residents of the FCT.

Revealing the activity, the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, wrote on X (formally Twitter), “FCT community led by the Honourable Minister of FCT, HM Nyesom Wike pay Eid-El Fitr Homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House Banquet Hall.”

In a separate tweet, he said, “Honourable Minister of the FCT, HM Nyesom Wike presents Sallah Felicitations card to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on behalf of residents of the Federal Capital Territory at the State.”
