Exchange rate: Naira to other currencies

The naira was bought and sold at N1,600/$ and N1,610/$ at the parallel market on Saturday August 10, 2024.

Bureau de Change (BDC) operators disclosed to Dailyeconomy.

According to the BDCs, the naira was bought and sold at N2,060/£ and N2,090/£; it was bought and sold at the rate of N1,700/€ and N1,730/€.

The naira exchanged to the Chinese Yuan at N185/¥ and N210/¥ at the parallel market.

On the Investor & Exporter forex window on Friday, the naira hit a high of N1,601/$ before closing at N1,574.20/$, figures obtained from the FMDQ revealed.

Total turnover recorded at the official trading platform was $323.11m at the close of Friday.
