Exchange rate: Naira to other currencies today
The naira was bought and sold for N1,595/$ and N1,605/$ at the parallel market on Saturday, August 17.
Bureau de Change operators disclosed the rates to Dailyeconomy.
According to them, the naira was bought and sold at N2,050/£ and N2,100/£; it was sold at the rate of N1,690/€ and N1,730/€.
The local currency exchanged to the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at the rate of N185/¥ and N210/¥ respectively.
On the Investors & Exporter forex window, the naira hit a high of N1,606/$ before closing at N1,579.89/$.
The official market recorded a total turnover of $115.23m, figures obtained from the FMDQ revealed.
