The naira was bought and sold for N1,610/$ and N1,615 at the parallel market on Friday, August 23.

According to the BDCs, the local currency was bought and sold for N2,050/£ and N2,080;£; it was bought and sold at the rate of N1,740/€ and N1,770;€.
The naira traded to the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at N200/¥ and N220/¥
On the Investors & Exporters forex window, the naira hit a high of N1,606/$ before closing at N1,570.14/$.
Total turnover recorded on the official trading window was $120.81m, figures obtained from the FMDQ revealed on Friday.
