The dollar was bought and sold for N1,710/$ and N1,725/$ at the parallel market on Friday, October 18, 2024.
Bureau de Change (BDCs) operators told Dailyeconomy.
According to the BDCs, the Pound Sterling was bought and sold for N2,230/£ and N2,270/£; Euro for N1,850/€ and N1,820/€ respectively.
The Chinese Yuan CNY traded at N210/¥ and N240/¥, according to the BDCs.
On the investors and exporters forex window, the dollar hit a high of N1,671.60/$ before closing at N1,600.78/$.
Total turnover recorded on the official trading platform was $350.72m, figures obtained from the FMDQ revealed.
