FAAN engages stakeholders ahead of MMIA 22-month rehabilitation

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), under the leadership of Olubunmi Kuku, recently convened a crucial meeting with key stakeholders at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) to discuss the upcoming MMIA Rehabilitation and Expansion Project.

Set to commence this August, the project is slated to last for 22 months and aims to enhance the airport’s infrastructure significantly.

FAAN took the opportunity to bring together concessionaires, airline operators, security agencies, and other relevant parties to ensure comprehensive collaboration.

According to FAAN’s announcement on X, “The FAAN management, led by Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, held a meeting with stakeholders at Murtala Muhammed Airport to address concerns related to the upcoming MMIA Rehabilitation and Expansion Project.”

During the meeting, discussions focused on plans to guarantee a smooth transition throughout the duration of the project.

Stakeholders were encouraged to provide feedback, with Mrs. Kuku assuring that all concerns “would be considered and that they would be fully involved throughout the process.”
