The ex-Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, participated in a thanksgiving service at Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly in Abuja.

During the service, he shared his personal story, led prayers, and laid hands on members of the congregation.

Pictures shared on X (formally Twitter) show Fani-Kayode praying and delivering a sermon.

Escorting the images with captions, he wrote, “Thanks to Archbishop Emmanuel Jatau of Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly, Abuja for receiving me so warmly and allowing me to minister and share my testimony with his wonderful congregation on Sunday.

“It was an honor and pleasure to share my testimony at Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly, Piwoje, Abuja on Sunday. I thank Archbishop Emmanuel Jatau, the presiding Bishop of this great Church, for granting me this honour and privilege.”

He stressed that while delivering a sermon, he encouraged  the congregation to embrace forgiveness rather than harbour hatred, establishing that adversaries often play a vital role in fulfilling one’s destiny.

Bringing out from biblical stories he said, “Never hate your enemy because without them you cannot fulfill destiny. More often than not, what he meant for evil, God meant for good.

“Without Judas’ betrayal, Jesus would not have achieved his purpose. Without Pharaoh’s hard task, Moses would not have been a deliverer, Without Saul’s envy, David would not have become King.

“Without the accusations of Potiphar’s wife or without his brothers betrayal, Joseph would not have become a leader. Without Delilah, Samson would not have killed the Philistine king and his entire cohort.

“Without Lucifer’s rebellion, God would not have proved himself mighty. So rather than be angry with your enemy, smile and say That which you want to do, do it quick.’”

He thereby enjoined them to embrace challenges citing that they often lead to success.

“Without a test you cannot have a testimony. Never laugh at somebody that is going through any kind of a mess because without a mess you can never have a message. You cannot get to the top of the mountain without first being at the bottom of the valley,” he noted.
