The former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has claimed that Nigeria will arise from the current economic woes.

This was obtained in an Easter statement released by Fayemi’s media office.

The former governor extended warm wishes to Nigerians, particularly Christians, underlining the importance of the season.

He thereby encouraged Christians to embrace the spirit of Easter by showing compassion and unity, stating “Easter is a reminder of the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair.

“The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection three days later is the foundation of the Christian faith and a powerful lesson in selflessness, love, and forgiveness.”

Fayemi further enjoined Nigerians to embody the virtues of Easter by reaching out to one another and working together to build a more equitable, peaceful, and prosperous society.

“Economic hardship and political uncertainties continue to test our strength as a people.

“But I remain hopeful. Nigeria is blessed with innovative minds and vast resources, and I believe we will emerge stronger from these trials,” Fayemi added.

He urged Nigerians to maintain hope and support each other during this season and beyond, as the spirit of Easter signifies that brighter days are ahead.
