FBI deepens collaboration with US businesses to protect economy

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding America’s economy and national security through stronger engagement with businesses and infrastructure organisations.

A statement by the Bureau, confirmed that the FBI field offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, and Omaha recently hosted events aimed at strengthening partnerships with the private sector.

The statement notes, “Engaging with American businesses and infrastructure organizations is a vital part of the FBI’s mission to protect the nation’s economy and national security.

“FBI teams in Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, and Omaha recently hosted events to enhance our understanding of the private sector’s risks and needs, increase collaboration and information-sharing, and mitigate threats to their systems, personnel, and customers.”
