The Federal Government has distributed N250,000 to exceptional small business owners in Ondo State as part of its ongoing initiative to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide.

As per the official X account of Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Vice President Kashim Shettima made this announcement during the launch of the 7th edition of the Expanded National MSME Clinics, which took place on Tuesday at The Dome in Akure, Ondo State.

Shettima emphasised that the N250,000 grant is not a loan but a gift from the Nigerian people, provided through their government to recognize and assist local industry leaders.

“This is not a loan. It is a gift from the Nigerian people, through their government, to the champions of local industry. It is our way of saying: we see you, we value you, and we believe in your journey,” said Shettima.
