FG to construct 10,000 housing units for medical workers

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has announced plans to construct 10,000 housing units under the Renewed Hope Medic Cities initiative.

The construction of these housing units will address the housing needs of medical workers nationwide.

The initiative aims to offer quality and affordable housing to Nigeria’s healthcare professionals, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The construction of these housing units was made known in a statement by the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.

It said, “The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has announced plans to construct 10,000 housing units under the Renewed Hope Medic Cities initiative to address the housing needs of medical workers nationwide.

“The project is designed to provide decent and affordable housing for the country’s medical workers as part of the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The administration is currently building 10,112 units across 14 locations in the country under the Renewed Hope Housing Agenda

“The Renewed Hope Medic Cities project would be achieved through collaboration between the Ministries of Housing and Health, the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, REDAN, and public-private partnerships and is expected to commence between January and February.”
