Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has revealed that the Oluremi@65 Education Fund has successfully generated ₦20.5 billion towards completing the National Library project.

She emphasised the significance of the fund in promoting education and cultural development, with the National Library serving as a vital resource for Nigerians.

The fund aims to ensure that the library becomes a fully functional center for knowledge and learning, supporting the country’s educational infrastructure and preserving its literary heritage.

She stated, “We have N20,456,188,924.93, and the amount continues to increase. Believe me, it is still climbing.”

Oluremi had previously encouraged the public to direct all birthday contributions towards the National Library initiative.
