First Lady wraps up Lagos visit following empowerment program, leather hub launch

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has wrapped up her visit to Lagos, which focused on initiatives to empower women and children.
As part of her trip, she inaugurated the Renewed Hope Initiative Empowerment Program and officially opened the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, recognized as the largest of its kind in West Africa.
Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the First Lady’s commitment and care for women, children, and families in a post on X.
“Her Excellency’s compassion and dedication to women, children, and families is inspiring and her visit strengthens our shared commitment to building a more inclusive society. On behalf of the good people of Lagos, I thank her warmly and look forward to welcoming her again soon,” Sanwo-Olu had written.
