Fiscal Policy chair highlights productive tax reform chat with JRB

The Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele has revealed a report on recent engagements with the Joint Tax Board, now rebranded as the Joint Revenue Board (JRB).

He wrote on X today, “We had a productive session with the Joint Tax Board (JTB), now the Joint Revenue Board (JRB), during their recent retreat in Ikogosi, Ekiti State.”

Oyedele emphasised the focus of their discussions, “Our discussions focused on implementation readiness and key areas of collaboration to ensure a smooth transition under the new tax reform laws.”

He added, “Together, we are working to modernise and strengthen Nigeria’s tax system for efficiency, fairness, and shared prosperity.”
