It was gathered that he arrived at the international terminal of Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, around 7 PM on Friday.

A viral video shows the Governor being welcomed by several aides at the airport.

He was then escorted to a waiting Sports Utility Vehicle that quickly drove away.

Although he traveled to Germany, reports indicate that he met with President Bola Tinubu privately in London, UK, recently.

President Tinubu suspended Fubara, his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, and members of the State House of Assembly after declaring a state of emergency.

The President based his decision on the attacks on oil pipelines by militant groups in the state during the ongoing conflict between the Governor and the 27 lawmakers, referencing the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
